AEROSOL WARFARE

Thanks again to the city of Houston for allowing one of the most blantantly obvious graffiti art shows that I've been part of or even been to with not one peep from the police. Mr. Gonzo and Weah definantly own their city and are great hosts. Here's a few photos from the show, but those who were there got a real feel of the vibe that Aerosol Warfare puts out...check out more of the Houston based art gallery/boutique at www.aerosolwarfare.com ...also if you want to check out more photos of the show or the whole tour check out http://www.flickr.com/photos/piecedtogether09/
If you're in the area the show runs till September 12th!!!!

HOUSTON TEXAS PIECED TOGETHER ART TOUR FINALE AUGUST 15th

Aerosol Warfare Gallery has the privilege to host the final leg of Texas’ first traveling graffiti art exhibition. “Pieced Together” All Texas Graffiti Art Show began its journey last year in Austin, TX when graffiti pioneer (and curator), SLOKE, pulled together some top aerosol artists from major cities in Texas and ‘pieced together’ the exhibition. Since then, this art show has traveled to cities such as Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Phoenix and San Francisco. Houston is the final destination and we are ready to throw a Texas Size Ho-Down to celebrate the successful run of an exhibition that the LA Weekly describes as a “hybridized style existing in this stylistic space between two art worlds”!
Artists Include: Austin – Sloke, Wake, Spain & Mez; San Antonio – Enks, Duo & Supher; Houston – Coler, Weah, Sode, & GONZO247; Dallas – Soner & Lawgic; El Paso – Grave, Myker & Durock; The Valley – Dmise & News.
Live interactive entertainment will be provided by CKC StART Street & Urban Arts. Audio Entertainment provided by Mr. Bristle and Divine Wind with other Dj’s to be announced. Complimentary refreshments provided by our generous sponsors: Sweet Leaf Tea & Red Bull. Adult beverages will also be available. This event is Free, open to the public and is family friendly.
All artwork will be on display at Aerosol Warfare Gallery & Boutique, opening August 15th, 2009 through September 12th, 2009
