Another project so far this year, so anxious we couldnt wait for our boy James to get moved into the bitch before we started painting, who cares if its 30 degrees. Anyways its going to be awesome and many good things to come out of this camp this year. FALLEN BROTHER DAVID METZGER


Afghanistan — Two Fort Bragg soldiers died Monday after their MH-47 Chinook helicopter crashed in Darreh-ye Bum, Afghanistan, according to the U.S. Department of Defense.
Sgt. 1st Class David E. Metzger, 32, of San Diego, and Staff Sgt. Keith R. Bishop, 28, of Medford, N.Y., were assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Bragg.
They were among seven special operations soldiers who died in the crash, DOD officials said.


Metzger is survived by his sons, David and Grant, who live in Fort Bragg. He is also survived by his parents, David Metzger and Lisandra Holstein, as well as his grandmother, Dolores, of San Diego, Calif.

Bishop is survived by his wife, Margaret, of Flager Beach, Fla. and parents, Robert and Suzan Bishop, of Carlisle, Penn.
